[3 Hours]
This course is a general foundational study of the books of the New Testament, especially noting the unique contribution each book makes to the New Testament canon. 
 
BI 120 Personal Evangelism/Ethnic Ministries
[3 Hours]
In this course, students are taught how to use Scriptures in leading people to Christ.  Emphasis is placed on the presentation of the Gospel in order to win people to Christ in all ethnic groups.  This course will add to the student’s ability to reach and evangelize many different cultures and ethnic groups.
 
BI 141 Bible Doctrines I 
[3 Hours]
This course is a foundational study of the doctrines of Prolegomena, Biology, and Theology Proper, utilizing a Biblical and systematic approach to theological investigation.
 
BI 142 Bible Doctrines II
[3 Hours]
This course is a foundational study of the doctrines of Anthropology, Christology, and Pneumatology, utilizing a Biblical and systematic approach to theological investigation.
 
BI 201 Bible Study Methods
[2 Hours]
This course is an academic and practical study of how to interpret the Bible, emphasizing an analytical method for personal Bible study.
 
BI 202 Baptist Theology and Practice
[2 Hours]
This course is a Biblical, theological, and historical study of the distinctive Baptist beliefs and practices.  This program is a study of the history of New Testament churches from the Apostolic Age to the present with an emphasis upon organization, doctrine, and contribution to contemporary society.
 
BI 212 Life of Christ
[2 Hours]
This course is a study of the life and times of Jesus Christ as recorded in the gospels, highlighting both the general and specific emphases of His ministry.
 
BI 222 Acts of the Apostles
[2 Hours]
This course is a narrative study of the book of Acts, emphasizing its theological contribution to the life and doctrine of the early church.
 
BI 241 Bible Doctrines 111
[3 Hours]
This course is a foundational study of the doctrines of Hamartiology and Soteriology, utilizing a Biblical and systematic approach to theological investigation.
 
BI 242 Bible Doctrines IV
[3 Hours]
This course is a foundational study of the doctrines of Ecclesiology and Eschatology, utilizing a Biblical and systematic approach to theological investigation.
 
BI 302 Romans
[2 Hours]
 This course is a textual and thematic study of the book of Romans, emphasizing its theological contribution to the doctrine of man, sin, and salvation.
 
BI 312 Creation versus Evolution
[2 Hours]
 This course surveys the facts from various fields of science and uses these facts to compare validity of the primary models of origins, evolution, and creation.  It will be demonstrated that the Biblical account of creation is the only reasonable explanation for the facts of the universe in which we live.  Also examined will be the classic attempts at harmonizing the evolution and creation models and why such an effort is, both scientifically and Biblically, incompatible. 
 
BI 400 Senior Bible Seminar
[1 Hour]
 This course is a review of the major Bible doctrines combined with the formulation and presentation/defense of the student’s own doctrinal position.  Only open to seniors.
 
BI 441 Apologetics and World Religions
[2 Hours]
 In this course, students are introduced to the major theological positions in Apologetics.  Special attention is given to the use of Scripture, as opposed to external evidence that the students might better confront adherents of the world religions with the true claims of the Gospel.
 
BI 452 Modern Cults
 [2 Hours]
The major cults are examined with reference to their origin, development, doctrine, and practice.  Their effect on the religious culture of America will be discussed.

BI 146 Bible Geography
[2 Hours]
This course is a study of the historical geography of Israel and its environs, emphasizing the major role which geography played in the outworking of Biblical history.
 
BI 214 Life of Paul
[2 Hours]
This course is a study in the life and times of the Apostle Paul.  Particular emphasis will be placed on his missionary journeys as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles and on his various writings.
 
BI 311 Pentateuch
[2 Hours]
This course is a study of Genesis through Deuteronomy with primary attention paid to the creation, flood, patriarchal narratives, the Exodus from Egypt, and the Law of Moses.
 
BI 322 Hebrews
[2 Hours]
This course is a textual and thematic study of the book of Hebrews, emphasizing its relevance to modern church doctrine and practice.

This course is a study of Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon, emphasizing major themes (e.g., fear of the Lord) relevant to godly living  and the use of Hebrew poetics in Old Testament interpretation.

This course is a textual and thematic study of the book of Revelation, emphasizing its relevance to events of the end times.
 
BI 427 Dispensationalism
[2 Hours]
This course is a study of Dispensationalism as a theological system with an emphasis on God’s progressive disclosure in Scripture of His plan of salvation and His relationship to mankind throughout history.

This course is an advanced study in the area of Bible doctrine concerning one or more of the major doctrines and emphasizing issues of current theological debate.
 
BI 446 Major and Minor Prophets
[2 Hours]
This course is a topical study of the major and minor prophets, emphasizing the nature of the prophetic ministry and messianic prophecy.
 
BI 447 Joshua through Esther
[2 Hours]
This course is a thematic exposition of the books of Joshua through Esther, focusing on Israelite history from the conquest under Joshua to the period after the return from exile.
