Pacific. Every region of our great country has its unique characteristics, but the Pacific Coast seems to be most identified with cultural diversity and with wickedness. PBC trains pastors, missionaries, teachers, and church workers with the needs of the western region and the world in mind.

Baptist. PBC is distinctively Baptist. As such, we are local-church based, soul-winning oriented, separated, and Christ centered. We are fundamentalist with conviction as opposed to new evangelical with compromise. We are fundamentalist with compassion, speaking the truth in love. In the tradition of historic Baptists, we hold to the absolute authority of the Word of God. At PBC every student majors in Bible, with at least 30 hours required in addition to his or her area of concentration. We believe that in every area of knowledge, we seek to apply it to our instruction, understanding and wisdom. The Bible is the rule for our faith and practice. It is not only to be understood, but it is to be believed and obeyed.

College. PBC is more than an institute. We believe firmly in academic excellence. Our course of study leads to a bachelor’s degree with the same general education requirements for a baccalaureate degree from any accredited college. We have dormitories, college life, a wonderful spirit on campus, and great academics... but most important, we desire to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ!”
