(LM) Ladies’ Ministry
 
LM 201 Family Life I
[2 Hours]
This course covers topics of Titus 2, a personal walk with the Lord, practical application of principles of happiness and success as a Christian woman.  Christian marriage is also covered emphasizing Biblical principles of marriage, leadership, communication in marriage, problem resolution in marriage, and choosing a mate.
 
LM 202 Family Life II
[2 Hours]
This course studies the topic of raising children to include principles of Christian parenting, loving and understanding children, child development, and effective discipline, motivating children and solving children’s problems.  Family decisions are also taught covering Biblical principles of building a home, Biblical decisions made on a daily basis that affect a woman’s children, marriage, and personal ministry.  Included is a survey of decisions Bible women made that resulted both in success and failure.
 
LM 301 Women in Ministry I
[2 Hours]
This course is a study of Biblical ministries of women, mentoring and discipleship ministries, choosing a ministry, the home in ministry, seasons of a women’s life and ministry, and historical Christian women in ministry.
 
LM 302 Women in Ministry II
[2 Hours]
This course is a study of problems common to women in ministry: recognizing and resulting problems women commonly face in ministry, pastors’ wives, missionary wives, Christian leadership wives, single in ministry, marriage in ministry, children in ministry, financial, inter-personal relationships, blessings and rewards of ministry life.  It includes a study of various historical ministries and their problems and downfalls.
 
LM 311 Women Helping Women I
[3 Hours]
This course is a basic survey of basic approaches to solving personal problems.  Topics include the dangers of psychology, counseling methodologies/models, Biblical counseling, the process of Biblical change, levels of problems, changing sinful behavior, and patterns of behavior common to women.
 
LM 312 Women Helping Women II
[3 Hours]
This course stresses the practical application of Biblical solutions to personal problems.  Topics include sequencing Scripture, specific problems common in ministry and their Biblical resolutions, depressions, eating disorders, anxiety, immorality, rebellious children, marital difficulties, self-image, and prescription drug abuse.
 
LM 401 Advanced Counseling I
[3 hours]
This course deals with specific problems common to women, working on case studies, and role playing.  Prerequisite:  LM 311, 312.
 
LM 402 Advanced Counseling II
[3 Hours]
This course deals with specific problems common to women, working on case studies, and role playing.
 
LM 411 Ladies’ Outreach
[2 Hours]
This course is instruction in how to lead women and children to Christ.  Emphasis is given to involvement in various outreach ministries, and the variety of ways women reach women on the foreign mission field.  Prerequisite:  LM 301
 
LM 412 Ladies’ Activities
[2 Hours]
This course is a survey of how to successfully plan and implement ladies’ activities and meetings in the local church.  Prerequisite: LM 301, 302.
 
LM 461, 462 Counseling Practicum
[2 Hours Each]
