Pacific Baptist College

Pacific Baptist College offers the following academic programs for the 2022-2023 school year.

Certificate of Bible Studies

This course is designed for the student or layman who wishes to increase their basic knowledge of scripture in a Bible college structure. This program will give the student an overview of basic Biblical principles contained in the Word of God and will be helpful to students who want to gain a better understanding of the great truths of God’s Word.

Requirements:

  • Meet all admissions requirements.
  • Complete at least 32 semester credits.
  • Maintain a grade point average of not less than 2.0.
  • Earn at least a “C-” in all courses pertaining to a major and minor.

 

Associates of Biblical Studies

For the student that wishes for a shorter time at Bible college and would like a Biblical overview in a two-year period, Pacific Baptist College has set up the ideal program. This Associate of Arts program gives the student a clear overview of Biblical truth with an introduction to the various disciplines in the academic field. This course also can help laymen in the church and the Bible student to gain useful information for his/her spiritual life. The requirements for this course are as follows:

  • Meet all admissions requirements.
  • Complete at least 66 semester credits.
  • Maintain a grade point average of not less than 2.0.
  • Earn at least a “C-” in all courses pertaining to a major and minor.
  • Complete the general education requirements, professional studies core, Bible major

 

Bachelor of Biblical Studies

The Bachelors of Biblical Studies offers the student the theological and practical ministry skills they’ll need as they serve God in the local church and the Christian community. This program is designed to provide the student with a Baptist worldview through a focused study of theology, church history, biblical studies, and practical ministry.

The Bachelors of Biblical studies emphasizes three concentrations: Pastoral Studies for men; Ladies’ Ministry for women; Biblical Counseling, and Biblical Missions.

– Pastoral Studies: This concentration is designed to prepare the student for the pastoral ministry, grounding the student in the word of God.

Ladies’ Ministry: This concertation is designed to prepare the student for ministry to Ladies within the context of the Local New Testament Church, and ministry abroad.

Biblical Counseling: This concentration is designed to prepare the student to provide Biblical counseling within the confines of the Local Church. (Note: this concentration does not lead to certification.)

Biblical Mission: This concentration help prepare the student for the life and work found on the mission field. Each student will be required to study the life of past missionaries, as well as make several mission trips in person before graduating.
